Our team is able to conduct studies and prepare technical opinions on specific foreign exchange transactions. Moreover, we are greatly experienced in solving problems with the public agencies that make up the of Brazilian Foreign Trade sector (Central Bank of Brazil – Bacen, Internal Revenue Service – SRF, Department of Commerce – SECEX, National Institute of Industrial Property – INPI, etc.).

Foreign Capital

Records of Financial Transactions (RDE-ROF):

• Import Financing;
• Advance payments of exports (export prepayment);
• Loans.

Records of Direct Foreign Investment (RDE-IED):

• CADEMP (individuals or corporations, domestic or foreign);
• CNPJ for foreign companies;
• Electronic Declaratory Records – Direct Foreign Investment (RDE-IED);
• Increase or reduction of capital, dividends, interest on capital, disposition to Brazilian companies, acquisition of Brazilian companies, assignment between non-residents, merger, consolidation and others;
• Conversion of debt into capital;
• Financial-economical statement.

Pending Exchange

• Regular review of the client’s exchange situation, holdovers detection, assessment of problems, presentation of solutions, implementation of procedures for the regularization and adoption of measures to prevent the emergence of new holdovers;
• Performance in administrative proceedings.

Specific Transactions and Taxation

• Analysis and classification of specific transactions, including on tax rate.

Industrial Property

• Registration of contracts: preparation, entry and monitoring of the proceeding for obtaining registration with the INPI.
